The Real Background

Some of you may be wondering, "What in the world is this kid talking about?" Well I promise I am not making these scenarios up. The real influence, as some of you may know, is the hit television series FlashForward. It is amazing to see the different perspectives portrayed in the broadcast, for each side is presented. Whether or not one may want to know their future, not want to know their future, or just happen to wonder about the future, there are different characters for every feeling. I, myself, would not want to know the future. How can I live my life knowing what is going to happen next? That is the beauty in life - encountering the unexpected and taking what life gives you and making the most of it. If I knew my future, I would worry every single day if what I was doing would lead to what I saw in my image. I believe I am better off not knowing because I love to learn and experience new things each and every day.

Day 4

After the day of the blackout, you question why everyone is freaking out about these images they had. What images are they talking about? To you, it was just a blackout - a momentarily lapse of consciousness. Is it true that everyone in the world saw something with they lost conscious? Why didn't you? After much debate on whether or not this meant something - whether you are just a unique individual who just happened not to see anything - you decide to find answers. How would you feel if everyone in society was experiencing something, going through the same situation, and you were left out. It kind of feels like they are not including you in a special activity. You finally decide, unfortunately, that the real reason you did not see anything happening to you on that day in the future is because you will not be here on that day. This, my friends, is a reason one may not want to find out their future.

Day 3

People often wonder what their life has to offer. In today's world, if things are not going as planned and someone is struggling with their life, often times this situation leads to depression, and maybe worse - suicide. One way a worldwide blackout can help a person is to prevent them from making the ultimate mistake. By knowing that they have something for which to live, they will not think that there is no point in living; therefore, that person will not do anything they will not do anything they will regret. There are many positives in knowing one's future. You may never know just how much it means to someone to know what lies ahead.

Day 2

"Dreams are worth a thousand words." This quote has a new meaning now, for every person in the world has experienced a unique dream. When conversing with friends and other people, you seem to notice a sort of pattern -- that everyone has encountered a life-like dream. What else in common could you possibly discover about these images? Maybe the fact that everyone's image occurred on the exact same day in the future. Piece by piece, you put together that this is no ordinary dream - it is your future. Freaked out? Fascinated? Awed? People throughout the world are puzzled at the new findings. What do you do?
